My last month has still been living with my newest love, Antarctica.  Along with finishing two more paintings, I gave a presentation at the local Pine Island Library called “Antarctica through the eyes of an artist”.

Along with showing photos, sketches and a finished painting, I shared with the audience, many of them artists,  the process of going from inspiration to finished paintings.  I was thrilled with their wonderful response, and they asked to see the photos a second time!  On that high note, I agreed to give the program to the Lake Superior Art Association (LSAA) in Marquette in May.  I’m already looking forward to sharing it with my friends at home!  I hope to see many of you there, at the Peter White Public Library on May 20th!

In the meantime, back to the studio for more painting …. Keep inspired! Kathleen
